Fortimere School

During the week (4th – 8th June 2007) a group of 11 yr 10 students from Fortismere and 2 students from Blanche Neville attended the CLC to participate in a Multimedia Enterprise Week. The task was linked to the DiDA speicaifation for Multimedia and involved the companies in creating their own identity and designing and making two version of a game that that be used by Year 6 students moving to Fortismere or Blanche Neville in September.
We had four companies and each company was given the same specification : to produce a 3 level game according to set rules. Each company needed to create their own company identity using Publisher and Photoshop. They then were encouraged to use OpenMind and Mediator to produce their game and included both photographic and video elements. Each company also had to maintain and complete a blog recording the process that they went through to create their games. They will present their products on Friday at noon to staff from their school.
